Cain named Hall County Teacher of the Year

Jessica Cain, a first-grade teacher at Lanier Elementary School, is this year's Hall County Teacher of the Year.
 
She now advances to the state teacher of the year competition.
 
Cain began her teaching career in 2013, serving as a substitute teacher and a kindergarten paraprofessional at Lanier.  In 2014, ,she became a first-grade teacher.
 
In addition to her instructional duties, Cain serves on the school leadership team, acts as first-grade representative, and sponsors the school yearbook. She is also a participant in the district’s Growing Teacher Leaders program.
 
Ms. Cain is a product of the Hall County School District and a graduate of East Hall High School.
