HOMER — Banks County struggled offensively in a 28-0 loss to Monticello at Leopard Stadium.
Monticello scored on two big-play runs of 60 and 20 in the first quarter to take a 14-0 lead with :26 seconds left in the opening quarter.
The Hurricanes tacked on a fourth-quarter score on a 14-yard pass play with 8:45 to go.
