Martin Truex, Jr. did more than just score his first career Martinsville Speedway victory on Sunday - he also became the first driver to lock into the Championship 4 for next month at Homestead.

On this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed and Amy Henderson review the First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway, including:

-Martin Truex, Jr. crushed the competition in Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville, leading all but 36 of the 500 laps on the day.

-William Byron drove to a well deserved second place finish on Sunday.

-Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin had a disagreement in Sunday's race that carried over to pit road.  Also, Aric Almirola and Kyle Busch are not going to be on each other's Christmas Card list this year.

-Chase Elliott finds himself in another do-or-die situation with two chances left to make the Champonship 4.

-We preview the NASCAR race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.
