COMMERCE — Commerce rebounded from a loss to Hebron Christian last week with a 56-18 drubbing of Towns County Friday night Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers (6-2, 21- Region 8-A North) started fast and led 44-0 at halftime.
Tyelon Brock, Daniel Wilson, Josh Frates, and Dreylon Martin all had touchdown runs. Trey Huff tossed a 33 yard TD pass to Dreylon Martin in the first half.
In the second half Huff scored on a 63-yard TD run and Landon Bunn added a 40-yard TD run for the final points.
Commerce will close its regular season next week against Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville. Towns County (0-8, 0-3) will play host to Lakeview Academy in its season finale next.
