DAHLONEGA — It was a close game until North Hall exploded for 29 points in the second quarter to pace a 59-0 blowout win against Lumpkin County Friday night at The Burial Grounds.
The Trojans' defense smothered Lumpkin (1-7, 0-4), holding them to 19 rushing yards and 70 passing yards.
Meanwhile, the North Hall offense picked up where they left off last week against Fannin County. The Trojans (5-3, 3-1 Region 7-3A) piled up 487 yards of total offense, including 105 yards passing.
JT Fair led the Trojans in total offense with 170 yards, 99 receiving and two scores and 71 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Jacob Dickey rushed four times for 91 yards and a touchdown, while Tate Brooks, Keegan Chambers and David Garrison all scored for the Trojans.
Bo Dowdy led the Indians' ground game with 12 carries for 38 yards and Tucker Kirk was 5-of-9 passing for 65 yards.
North Hall posted 39 points in the first half and added 20 more in the second.
The Trojans will play host to East Hall on Friday. Lumpkin will travel to Fannin County. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
