ROSWELL — Blessed Trinity ran for 454 yards in taking a 59-15 win over the War Eagles Friday night in Region 7-4A action.
Chestatee's Christian Charles managed 165 total yards (92 rushing, 73 passing) but the rest of the War Eagles offense was held to just 89 yards.
The win for Blessed Trinity (7-1, 4-0 Region 7-4A) coupled with Marist's 27-0 win over Flowery Branch, sets up a showdown next week for the region title.Chestatee (1-7, 0-4) was officially eliminated from the playoffrace with the loss.
The War Eagles will play host to White County next week.
