A single wide mobile home went up in flames late Thursday afternoon in Gainesville.
According to Hall County Fire Services Division Cheif Zach Brackett, units responded just after 6 p.m.
"Hall County Fire Services responded to a residential fire in the 4300 block of Hart Lane," he said.
Upon arrival, crews found the mobile home already up in flames with nearly half of the home already destroyed.
"Arriving units found a single wide mobile home 50% involved with fire," Brackett said. "Personnel extinguished the fire and no injuries have been reported."
Authorities say no one was home at the time of the fire, but the elderly homeowner has been displaced as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time but law enforcement is investigating.
