Community members interested in living a healthier lifestyle - both physically and mentally - visited the Gainesville Civic Center Wednesday for the 13th Annual HealthSmart Expo, sponsored by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors were able to browse among the more than 60 vendor booths at this year's expo. They also had the opportunity to participate in free seminars and free health screenings as they had at past events. This year, though, the main focus of the expo was on mental health and wellness.

In conjunction with the 2019 expo, United Way of Hall County promoted its "Reach Out Day" as part of its effort to educate the community and promote better mental health care services for all Hall County citizens.
