Ryan Blaney didn't mind having to wait an extra day at Talladega Superspeedway, as he scored the win in Monday's rain-delayed Monster Energy Cup Series Race at Talladega.

On this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson review the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, including:

-Ryan Blaney punches his ticket to the Round of 8 of the Playoffs by beating Ryan Newman by inches at the finish line for the win at Talladega.

-There were lots of crashes at Talladega, including one that sent Brendan Gaughan flying through the air.

-Chase Elliott and Joey Logano were both caught up in crashes, but still soldiered home to respectable finishes.

-Who's in and who's out of the Playoffs going to the cutoff race at Kansas thanks to Monday's crashfest.

-We preview the NASCAR race weekend at Kansas Speedway.
