After nearly a week of investigation, Gwinnett County Police Department detectives have identified three people suspected in the murder of a Buford businessman.
Sukkee Hong, 49, was found shot to death in the garage of his home at 5811 Kendrix Ridge Drive the night of Friday, Oct. 4.
Cpl. Michele Pihera said one suspect is under arrest, another suspect is in the hospital and a third suspect remains at large.
Pihera said Subriccia Moss, 33, of Lithonia was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 9, and charged with felony murder and unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance. Moss is in the Gwinnett County Jail with no bond.
Daquan Rashad Clarke, 32, of Lithonia has been charged with felony murder and armed robbery. Pihera said Clarke is currently hospitalized at Grady Hospital in Atlanta recovering from injuries in an unrelated incident in the city of Atlanta. She said he will be arrested when he is released from the hospital.
A third suspect, Ian Jabar Longshore, 34, of Decatur remains at large. He is wanted on charges of felony murder and armed robbery.
Pihera said investigators continue to believe the motive for the crime was robbery. The victim was the owner of a check cashing business in Lithonia.
"We believe the victim had been placed under surveillance by the suspects prior to the crime," Pihera said.
She said investigators are unsure if the trio might be responsible for other crimes.
