A Mattie's Call has been issued for a 57-year-old Braselton man who was last seen a week ago at a fast-food restaurant in Braselton.

The Braselton Police Department said Jeffrey Steven Helms was last seen on Oct. 3 near the Dairy Queen on Highway 53. Helms suffers from dementia and other major medical issues, according to authorities.

Helms is a white male, 5’9, 180 lbs, with hazel eyes and black hair.

Police think Helms may be driving a 2000 White Chevy S-10 with GA tag PWR2786.

If anyone has seen the missing man or has any information on his whereabouts, police ask that they contact Jackson County authorities at 706-367-1911.
