The resurfacing of a 3.7-mile section of Dahlonega Highway in the Murrayville area which has been causing lengthy delays for motorists is coming to an end Friday.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said Thursday crews will be finishing the paving portion of the "pavement preservation project."
Any additional lane closures to install the permanent striping on the lanes will occur later in the month.
