Between breaking news and actual on-track action, the past week was a busy one for the motorsports world leaving most reporters saying "What off season?"

But that leaves several topics to be discussed on this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, as Brandon Reed and Pete McCole take the time to go over several of them, including:

-NASCAR Hall of Famer Glen Wood passed away last week at the age of 93.  Brandon and Pete talk about Wood and his impact on the sport.

-Christopher Bell scored his third straight Chili Bowl Midget Nationals victory over the weekend.  Brandon and Pete discuss the importance of the event and how so many competitors in it and around the Open Wheel Dirt scene have moved to NASCAR.

-Jamie McMurray is set to make his final Cup start next month at Daytona for Spire Motorsports, with partnership from Chip Ganassi Racing.

-We preview this weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona for the IMSA Weathertech Sports Car Series and the CRA SpeedFest for asphalt Super Late Model and Pro Late Models at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia.
