Teams across seven northeast Georgia regions will face key region matchups Friday night.
On the boy's side, Denmark travels to Chestatee in a battle for third place in Region 7-4A.
Banks County takes the ride to Social Circle to fight it out for second in Region 8-2A
On the girl's side, in Region 8-6A, Gainesville heads over to Bulldogg country to play Winder-Barrow. If the Bulldoggs win, it will create a tie for third.
In Region 8-5A, Buford hosts Loganville. If Loganville pulls the upset, it'll knock the Lady Wolves out of first place and, with a Clarke Central win, would push them to the top.
In Region 7-3A, Cherokee Bluff will welcome Lumpkin. The Lady Bears are coming off a close loss to region leader North Hall on Tuesday. Lumpkin should be well-rested and ready to go. This game could be a showdown.
In Region 8-A, Lakeview Academy goes to Commerce in a game that could shake up the region standings. If Commerce wins, it would catapult them from sixth to the top-four.
