Work on replacing damaged concrete slabs on I-985 and I-85 (northbound) is scheduled to continue this weekend.
Officials with the state Department of Transportation say traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-85 northbound approximately half a mile before the I-985/I-85 Interchange. Interstate 985 will also be reduced to one lane while the damaged concrete slabs are removed.
These lane closures will be continuous from 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 through Monday, Jan. 7 at 5 a.m.
