Seven from northeast Ga. among Georgia Trend's '100 Most Influential Georgians'

Two Gainesvillians are among seven people from northeast Georgia named the "100 Most Influential Georgians of 2019" by Georgia Trend Magazine.

They are Carol Burrell, President & CEO, Northeast Georgia Health System, and Butch Miller, Georgia Senate President Pro-Tem.

Others from the region who are included are Matt Arthur, Rabun County, Commissioner, Technical College System of Georgia; Gary Black, Commerce, Commissioner, Georgia Department of Agriculture; Steve Gooch, Dahlonega, Majority Whip, Georgia Senate; Russell McMurry, Buford, Commissioner, Georgia Department of Transportation; and, David Ralston, Blue Ridge, Speaker, Georgia House of Representatives.
