One body has been recovered and other victims are believed to be in the water after a New Year's Eve crash into Lake Hartwell.
WNEG Radio News in Toccoa is reporting a truck crashed in the Broken Bridges area and plunged into Lake Hartwell.
Stephens County Randy Shirley told the radio station that eyewitnesses on the South Carolina side of the lake saw the truck travel off the Old Georgia U.S. 123 bridge into the water.
