The President of Georgia Gwinnett College announces plans to retire at the end of the academic year in May.

Stanley "Stas" Preczewski, Ph. D. took the reins as president in 2014 after serving 8 years as the Lawrenceville college's inaugural vice president for academic and student affairs and one year as interim president.

The University System of Georgia says they'll launch a national search to fill the vacancy.
