A Lumpkin County woman is facing charges for her alleged sexual involvement with a 16-year-old boy.
The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office said investigators were alerted Tuesday, Sept. 18 to the apparent relationship between 32-year-old Erica Christina McDaniel and the teen.
Following an investigation that included a number of interviews, McDaniel was arrested and charged with two counts each of child molestation and statutory rape.

A press release from the sheriff's office said there were multiple incidents that occurred over a one-year time frame.
McDaniel made her first court appearance before a magistrate judge Friday; the judge denied bond.
