The Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter is hosting the first Community Educator Training in Gainesville October 11 at 10:00 at Gardens of Gainesville.
The Community Education Programs are designed to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and provide practical strategies for care and support, according to a news release from the Association.
These programs are designed to help participants develop coping methods and encourage caregivers to maintain their physical and emotional health while caring for people with Alzheimer’s. There is no cost to attend the training, but registration is required.
