SOCIAL CIRCLE — The rebound continued for Banks County football on Friday, as the Leopards claimed their second straight victory of the season.
The Leopards knocked off Social Circle 32-10 in Social Circle to open Region 8-2A play with a victory.
The Redskins (2-1, 0-1 Region 8-2A) took a 3-0 second quarter lead only to watch Banks County respond with 13 straight points for a 13-10 halftime advantage.
From there the Leopards (2-2, 1-0) pulled away courtesy two Jacob Lehotsky touchdown runs and Terrance Walker's third and final rushing score.
Walker helped Banks County roll up 414 yards on the ground, scoring on runs of 6, 81 and 42 yards. Sean Hall also ripped off a 70-yard run for Banks, setting up Lehotsky's first touchdown plunge in the third quarter.
The Leopards defense, meanwhile, yielded just 235 total yards -- 133 through the air.
