Mark Chancey jumped to the early lead of Saturday night’s 37-lap Roger Cooper Memorial Stock V8 feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway, and went on to score the victory.
The win put $1,437 in the Bethlehem, Georgia driver’s pocket after he led wire-to-wire in the feature event.
The first attempt at a start in the race was negated by a three car tangle off turn two.
On the second attempt, Chancey powered to the lead, and would stay there the rest of the way.
Trip Sexton was second, followed by Derek Greeson in third, and Jr. Carter in fourth.
In other action, John Anderson took the win in the Limited Late Model feature, with Chad Puckett in second, Chris Woods in third, Ken Lampp in fourth and Shane Cox in fifth.
Jerome Hanson was the winner in the Hobby feature. Nick Sellers finished second, with Chris Jones third, Michael Lewis fourth and Chase Lampp fifth.
Ronnie Poole scored the victory in the Modified Street feature, with Aaron Criswell, Shane Peppers, Kevin Shaw and Arti Ridgeway rounding out the top five.
Shane Peppers took the win in the Stock 4A feature. P.J. Allen was second, with Allen Cantrell third, Roger Cothran fourth and Will Sanders fifth.
Tyler Wood beat out Mark Parker for the win in the Stock 4B feature, with Hole Jones following in third. John Martin finished fourth, with Brandon Cox in fifth.
