NASCAR's weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway wasn't the only thing pushed back a day thanks to the wet weather in Indiana.

A day late but never short on content, this week's Hard Left Turn podcast is here, with discussion and insight on the running of the Brickyard 400 for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and more.

In this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Around the Track editor Brandon Reed and NASCAR reporter Pete McCole have a look at this past weekend's action, including:

-Brad Keselowski records a last-lap victory in one of the most exciting Brickyard 400 victories in history.

-The cutoff to the Playoffs didn't really "roar" in.  It kind of more "thudded" than anything.  Brandon and Pete explain.

-Furniture Row Racing announced last week that the No. 78 Toyota of defending MENCS champion Martin Truex, Jr. will not be returning in 2019.  There's a lot to talk about here, so settle in.

-We take a moment to remember Vaudell Sosebee, Burt Reynolds and Dr. Don Panoz, all of whom we lost in the past week.

-We preview the upcoming NASCAR weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (and we talk about ways to spice up the post-season, like a bonus for non-Playoff drivers winning a race).

Remember, WDUN will have live PRN Radio coverage of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series DC Solar 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway beginning at 4:30 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN. Coverage continues on Sunday with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400, beginning at 2 pm on 102.9 FM and streaming live on AccessWDUN.
