NORCROSS — North Hall won its third consecutive game Monday with a 10-0 shutout win over Greater Atlanta Christian in Region 7-3A girls softball action on the road.
The victory kept North Hall (8-7, 5-2 Region 7-3A) in third place in the region standings.
Kendyl Chase earned the victory in the circle scattering two hits and striking out five over six innings.
It was a close game most of the way with North Hall leading just 1-0 heading to the fifth inning. But the Lady Trojans plated three runs in the fifth and exploded for a 6-run sixth inning to put the game away.
Macy Clark, Hannah Payne, and Sam Rooker each had RBIs in the big sixth inning.
Payne gave North Hall the early lead with a RBI sacrifice fly in the first inning.
The Lady Trojans tallied 11 hits for the game with Clark, who had three hits, Payne, and Chase all having multi-hit games.
The two teams will meet Tuesday at North Hall to complete the home-and-home series.
