Brenau University's East Campus in Gainesville has been closed temporarily because of water damage in the building.
According to information on the university website and Facebook page, the building will be closed through Friday, Sept. 14. There was no information given on the cause or the extent of the damage.
In addition to canceling classes, the university has had to postpone community events in the facility, including the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Small Business Resource Fair. That event has been rescheduled for Sept. 25.
Brenau University's East Campus building is located at 1001 Chestnut Street in Gainesville.
