Mother Nature has won the day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Persistent rain showers moved in over Speedway, Indiana on Saturday morning, leading NASCAR officials to cancel all on-track activities for the day at the 2.5 mile speedway.

That included the NASCAR Xfinity Series Lilly Diabetes 250, which was scheduled for a mid-afternoon start. That race will now be moved to Monday morning, with a 10 am start time.

Also washed out was qualifying for Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice and pole qualifying for Sunday’s Brickyard 400.

In addition, the start time for Sunday’s Brickyard 400 has been moved up to 1 pm.

The starting lineup for both races will be determined by owner’s points, with neither series getting any practice time going into their respective races.

That will put Kyle Busch on the pole for Sunday’s Cup race, while Ryan Blaney will lead the field to green for the Xfinity Series on Monday.

WDUN will have live IMS Radio Network coverage of Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 beginning at noon on 102.9 FM, 1 pm on AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.  Coverage continues on Monday with the rain postponed NASCAR Xfinity Series Lilly Diabetes 250 beginning at 10 am on 102.9 FM and streaming live on AccessWDUN.

Rain washed out all of NASCAR's on-track activities slated for Saturday, and has led officials to move the start time of Sunday's Brickyard 400 to 1 pm.
