A man is dead and a woman is facing serious charges after a weekend vehicle versus pedestrian accident in Franklin County.
The Georgia State Patrol said Monday the woman was driving on Ridgeview Drive in the Gumlog area around 9:45 Sunday morning and crossed the median, striking a man and killing him.
They said she then left the scene, but was located a short time later.
The names of the victim and the driver have not been released.

The Georgia State Patrol said the investigation has been turned over to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
