NORCROSS — East Hall stayed perfect in Region 7-3A play after taking a 9-1, five-inning win over Greater Atlanta Christian on the road Monday.
The Lady Vikings (5-5, 4-0 Region 7-3A) used a 7-run thid inning to blow the game open and then cruised to the victory.
East Hall got RBI singles from Calli Hardison and Jennifer Lopez, RBI sacrifice flies fom Kaitlyn Daniel and Peyton Turner, and a RBI fielder's choice by Abigail Brown in the big inning.
The Lady Vikings scored a run each in the first and second innings, highlighted by a second inning solo home run from Daniel, to grab the lead before the big thid inning explosion.
Macy Banks went 3 1/3 innings in the circle giving up one run and scattering four hits to earn the win. Hardison pitched the final 1 2/3 innings to preserve the victory.
East Hall next will play host to Cherokee Bluff on Tuesday in another region battle.

DAWSON COUNTY 1
North Hall stayed unbeaten in Region 7-3A play after rallying for a win over Dawson County at home on Monday.
Dawson County (3-8, 1-3 Region 7-3A) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning but they could not hold it.
North Hall tied the game at 1-1 on a RBI hit by Kendyl Chase. The Lady Trojans (5-5, 3-0 Region 7-3A) pulled away for good with a run in the fourth inning on a Kristen Dowdy RBI ground out.
Chase got the win for the Lady Trojans tossing a complete-game, two-hitter and striking out 10 Dawson County batters.
Maggie Schandera took the loss for Dawson County. Schandera went six innings allowing five runs on 10 hits.
Kelsey Garland, Sam Rooker, Hannah Payne, and Macy Clark all had multi-hit games for North Hall.
The Lady Trojans travel to Lumpkin County on Tuesday while Dawson County plays host to Fannin County on Tuesday in a pair of region contests.
