Hall County Schools officials said no children were injured when their school bus was involved in an accident Monday morning, however the driver of the other vehicle was injured.
The accident occurred on Winder Highway at Bolling Mill Road and the 20 students were headed to Chicopee Woods Elementary, according to schools spokesman Gordon Higgins in an email statement.
Higgins said a substitute bus picked up the children and took them to school.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident occurred around 7:45 a.m., Higgins said. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
