The Barrow County Sheriff's Office said 12-year-old Alyssa Holtzclaw has been located.
The girl was reported missing by her mother. A social media post on the BCSO Facebook page offered no details on the circumstances of the girl's disappearance.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Barrow County Sheriff's Office are working together to locate missing 12-year-old girl.
A social media post on the Barrow County Sheriff's Office indicated Alyssa Holtzclaw's mother reported the girl missing. She was last seen Wednesday, August 22 at 7 p.m.
The girl is 5'3" and weighs approximately 115 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
