The Georgia Department of Transportation said the State Route 316 and State Route 81 interchange project will require a a single lane closure 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Agust 23.
This work in the median will close a single westbound lane closest to the median, and allow the construction of the future detour lane. This same closure will be in effect Friday, August 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Please be mindful of the workers in close proximity to travel lanes," said GDOT spokeswoman Katie Strickland in a press statement.
