Former World Heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield will be the featured speaker at this year's Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier Future 4 Kids Gala.
This will be the 16th annual event, a major fundraiser for the clubs.
Holyfield, who is from Atlanta, is a four-time World Heavyweight champion, who got his start in boxing as a “Club kid” in Atlanta.
The gala will be held October 9 at the Gainesville Civic Center, starting with a reception at 5:30.
