The second trip of the 2018 season for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series to the Pocono mountains is in the books with Sunday's running of the Gander Outdoors 400 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

In this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Around the Track editor Brandon Reed and NASCAR reporter Pete McCole have a look at the race, including:

-Kyle Busch powers to the victory after a post-qualifying DQ sent him to the back of the field.

-Busch, provisional pole sitter Kevin Harvick and 11 of their friends all had their qualifying times disallowed in Saturday's post-qualifying technical inspection?  What caused 13 teams to have to give up their starting spots?

-The qualifying DQ's worked out for Daniel Suarez, who inherited the lead and converted that into a second place finish on Sunday.

-Darrell Wallace, Jr. took a very scary ride into the turn one wall after an apparent brake failure late in the going.

-Sunday saw a swing in fortune for Hendrick Motorsports, who had three drivers - including Dawsonville, Georgia's Chase Elliott - finish in the top 10.  Does this mark a change for the ailing Chevrolet teams?

-This Sunday, both the MENCS and NXS head to Watkins Glen International for some road racing action.  Is there still such a thing as a road race ringer in NASCAR?
