Poly Enterprises second annual community fundraiser to support Georgia Mountain Food Bank raised more than $5,500 in donations in just one month.
The funds will allow the Food Bank to continue to support its agency partners and programs year-round, providing more than 27,500 meals to those in need of access to healthy and nutritious food, according to a GMFB press release.
“The Food Bank is extremely grateful for Greg Ours and his incredible team,” said Kay Blackstock, executive director of Georgia Mountain Food Bank. “Poly Enterprises has always worked diligently to share our mission. They are truly an example of the best in corporate community stewardship.”
“The team at Poly Enterprises embraced our involvement with Georgia Mountain Food Bank with great enthusiasm and vigor,” said Ours, president of Poly Enterprises. “I am fortunate to be part of such a caring and dedicated group.”
Poly Enterprises' goal this year was $5,000.
