The Hall County Commission has given final approval to a rezoning that will allow for a subdivision to be built on just over 9 acres of land near Lanier Islands Parkway in the Buford area.

The land sits on Beards Road just south of Lanier Islands Parkway and according to the request made by Jason Jackson, the land is expected to be divided into 11 lots.

No one spoke for or against the development before the commission's Thursday vote. The rezoning changes the land from Agricultural-Residential-III to Planned Residential Development.
