A Gwinnett County police officer was injured Saturday in a two car collision on Highway 120 in Lawrenceville
CBS-46 reports the officer was driving on Hwy-120 at Ga-316 when another car made an illegal turn at the intersection and was struck by the officers patrol car.
The officer, whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The other driver was not injured, but was found to be at fault in the accident.
The Lawrenceville Police Department is heading up the investigation.
