The deputy coroner for Hall County said the body found in a vehicle outside a motel on Wednesday afternoon is that of a 63-year-old woman.
Kevin Wetzel said Saturday morning they still do not have a cause of death for Dorothy Bailey. He said authorities are still awaiting a toxicology report to determine how Bailey might have died.
Bailey's body was discovered in the vehicle just before 12:45 p.m. on June 27. The vehicle was parked outside the Budgetel Inn & Suites on Jesse Jewell Parkway.
Gainesville police continue to investigate the case.
