The Jackson EMC crews were assisting Blue Ridge Electric Co-op, based in Pickens, S.C., restore power to its members. Blue Ridge serves 64,890 members across Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Powerful storms on Sunday caused extensive damage to power lines and poles in Blue Ridge service area.
