A crowd of locals showed up for a tour of the relatively new Hall County Sheriff's Office headquarters on Saturday, as part of an open house event that featured food, music and fellowship.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house were previously held at the location shortly after it was completed in October 2016, but officials said an increased level of interest that was seen after the start of on-site operations prompted a second round of tours to show off the facility.
The Sheriff's Office is located on Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville, next door to the Hall County Government Center.
