A Gainesville adoption attorney, Judy Sartain, has been invited to become a Fellow with the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys.
It's an organization that provides a resource for the public in choosing a qualified adoption attorney, according to Sartain.
Sartain grew up in Paducah, Kentucky and attended Campbellsville College (now University) in Kentucky prior to relocating to Atlanta and graduating from Trinity College (cum laude) in 1992. She graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 1995 (cum laude).
Sartain began practicing law in September 1995, having been admitted to the bar in Forsyth County, while working at McFarland & Associates. She finalized her first adoptions while at McFarland.
