ATLANTA — Atlanta United announced on Tuesday that defender Greg Garza underwent successful surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder and is slated to miss four-to-six months.
Garza originally suffered the injury during the 2017 MLS All-Star Game and reaggravated it during Atlanta’s match against New York Red Bulls on May 20.
Atlanta United (8-3-1, 25 points) returns to action tomorrow against New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium (7:30 p.m., FOX Sports South).
