A Sugar Hill man died Thursday in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident along Ga. 20 in Gwinnett County, near the Forsyth County line, but Gwinnett County Police are unsure when exactly the accident happened.
Nathan M. Vise, 28, was ejected when his motorcycle left the roadway and hit a guide wire that was supporting a pole about half a mile west of Burnette Trail, and subsequently fell down an embankment, where he died, said Cpl. Wilbert Rundles, Gwinnett County Police spokesman, in an interview with AccessWDUN.
Investigators are working to determine if speed or alcohol played a role in the crash, which doesn't appear to involved any other vehicles, said Rundles.
Police were first called to the scene when a passerby noticed the accident around 2 p.m.
What's unclear, said Rundles, is when the accident actually happened and how long Vise' body might have been there.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwinnett Police at (770) 513-5700.
