Spray pad at Forsyth County's Old Atlanta Park is set to open for summer

Forsyth County’s popular spray pad, located at Old Atlanta Park, will open for the season beginning Saturday, May 26, and will remain open through September 3.

Hours of operation for the spray pad are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., May 26 through August 1. Beginning August 2 until September 3, the hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Daily admission for the spray pad is $2 per person (1 year old and up); cash or check only. Adults entering with a paying child are free as long as they remain on the dry deck. Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are available for $60.

The spray pad is available for private rentals on Sundays only, June 3 through August 26, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. A two-hour private rental is $200 and includes exclusive use of the spray pad and adjacent pavilion for a maximum of 100 participants.

Old Atlanta Park is located at 810 Nichols Road in southeast Forsyth County. In addition to the spray pad, Old Atlanta Park features a playground, two pavilions, a 1-mile walking trail and a recreation center. For more information, visit www.forsythco.com/parks or call (770) 205-4646.
