A man suspected in the murder of his girlfriend in the Hoschton area last week was arrested over the weekend.
Barrow County Sheriff's Office Capt. Cory Almond confirmed via email the arrest of 29-year-old Ethan Andrew Ramey. Almond said Ramey was arrested early Saturday morning at a location on Braselton Highway (Ga. 124). He offered no other details of the arrest.
Ramey, who is from Loganville, had been on the run since Kellie Roop, 42, of Buford was found with a knife wound to her neck on Thursday, May 10. Roop died of her injuries.
Ramey was being sought on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
