Five Hart County firefighters were hospitalized Saturday night after a fire on Anderson Highway.
“Please keep all of our firefighters but particularly five firemen in your prayers tonight,” a post on the Hart County Fire Department Facebook page reads. “Those five are being treated for poison smoke inhalation after fighting a structure fire this evening.”
The fire, at 2186 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, was reported at 7 p.m.
