Pedestrian critically injured Monday identified as Gainesville man; charges not expected

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the pedestrian who was critically injured early Monday morning along Cleveland Highway as a Gainesville man.

Charles Edward Mosley IV, 32, was hit by a vehicle around 4:50 a.m. near Walden Pond Road, according to Sgt. Auston Allen.

Mosley was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, and at last report remained in critical condition.

The vehicle was headed north when the accident happened.

Charges will not filed against the driver, Allen said.
