A spokesman for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission has confirmed the agency has received complaints involving two former teachers at Dawson County High School.
However, Dr. Paul Shaw, Director of the Ethics Division for GaPSC, said in an email he could not release any details.
"This is the only information we can legally confirm at this time," Shaw wrote.
Both Ansley Patrum and Sara Beth Jones resigned their teaching positions last month at the high school.
The two apparently had inappropriate communications with students via social media.
Dr. Damon Gibbs, Dawson County School System Superintendent, said the incidents in question were separate and unrelated.
Both Patrum and Jones were first-year teachers at Dawson County High School.
