The Gainesville Police Department said someone recently stole about $5,000 worth of lawn equipment from a local church.
Life Point Assembly of God on Pine Valley Road reported the theft Thursday, April 5. Church officials said they believe the equipment was taken after March 22.
The equipment was stored in a shed on the church grounds.
Police said they did not have a suspect description.
