Two northbound lanes of Georgia 400 will be closed starting at 8:00 Tuesday morning between State Route 141 and Bald Ridge Marina.
Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Katie Strickland said the lane closure is needed so that crews can repair portions of the concrete roadway.
"In order to measure these concrete slabs and to start replacing some of these that have started to fail or need to be replaced, crews need to be in the roadway, Strickland said.
Strickland said all lanes should be re-opened by noon Tuesday.
