Higgins Construction will resume work on the Level Grove Sidewalk and Drainage Project on Monday, according to Cornelia officials
They add that this will complete the project from where work left off in November, near Slayton Street to the intersection of Wayside Street. The project was delayed until after Valentine’s Day at the request of L& D Florist.
The contractor has been trying to resume working since February 19 but the weather has not cooperated.
A news release from the city says customers of L& D Florist will be able to access the business at all times either from the Wayside Street side or from the downtown side of Level Grove Road.
